LINCOLNTON – The Lincoln County and Extension & Community Association will begin its Living Healthy Program, also known as the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program, on Feb. 18.
The six-week program was developed to help individuals with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, pain, high blood pressure, cancer, arthritis and migraines, learn how to manage them. The program teaches participants how to manage symptoms, such as fatigue, pain, anxiety, depression and sleeping problems.
The program will be held 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 18-March 25, at the James W. Warren Citizens Center, 115 W. Main St. There is no cost, but registration before Feb. 13 is required. Lunch will be provided.
