Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley recently honored Annette Walker for her 20 years of service to the organization.

Walker began working with the organization when it was located in a small house in downtown Hickory. She is the director of the Center of Grief and Healing, where she serves families dealing with grief and loss.

Chief Operating Officer Michelle Roseman praised Annette as someone who embodies the service standards of the organization, “working like she owns it.”
