LINCOLNTON – The Lincoln County Fire Marshall temporarily closed the offices of the Parks and Recreation and Public Works departments, at 330 W. Church St., Lincolnton, after he found what might be lead-based paint and asbestos in flooring tiles.
The departments will be working out of temporary office while the county tests for the two substances. Delores Alfaro, secretary to the county manager, said the location for the temporary offices will be announced later.
