Dear Editor,
In every major challenge faced by Lincoln County in the past few years, a small number of dedicated and committed folks have stepped up and tackled the job at hand. Issues like traffic and highway management, clear cut and pave construction, Walmart design, landfills in neighborhoods and a districting plan to limit representation on the commission from high-growth areas.
Jim Klein was there in the trenches and among other committed citizens. They worked to find a better way to grow, to expand our vision, and to invite new business to Lincoln County.
Jason Saine was working behind the scenes against those efforts, trying to defeat any attempts to bring the businesses and services to Lincoln County that will make our county more attractive to employers and lower our tax burden on homeowners.
Jim Klein knows how to build up a community, not build up barriers. Jason Saine tries to divide us and pit one neighbor against another.
Jason Saine was never there when this community needed help to resolve those issues. He was not elected by citizens, but appointed by a few people who sit on the Republican Executive Committee Party, certainly not a true representation of Lincoln County. Please send the message to Jason Saine that if you were not willing to work for this community when we needed you then you should not be elected to make the decisions for it! Vote for the candidate with experience who has earned your trust, Jim Klein.
