Gaston College is offering a series of free small business classes to teach efficient business practices.
Sessions will be offered January-May at the Lincoln Campus, Room 125, in Lincolnton or the Classroom Building, Room 114B, Kimbrell Campus in Belmont.
The classes to be offered in January are:
• The ABC’s of Starting a Small Business: Jan. 17, 6:30-9 p.m., Kimbrell Campus. This seminar discusses management, licensing and some “how-to’s” of starting a business.
• So You Think You Have a Great Idea. Now What?: Jan. 24, 6:30-9 p.m., Kimbrell Campus.
• Profit Is Not a Four-Letter Word: Jan. 28, 6:30-9 p.m. at the Lincoln Campus, and Jan. 31, 6:30-9 p.m. at the Kimbrell Campus. This seminar teaches the relationship between pricing, costs and profits. q
